    1. Test knitting happens when I have finished a design and the pattern has been written and tech edited. At that point, I ask a limited number of knitters to test the pattern for me. Generally, I am looking for 4-8 knitters (covering as many different sizes as possible) to knit the pattern and provide feedback on any errors, confusing language or suggestions they find. Then, when the pattern launches, I like each knitter to post a photo of their project on ravelry and link their project to the pattern, so that others can see what the finished product looks like! I also gift the final pattern to all test knitters. The knitters receive the test pattern for free and use the yarn of their choice (as long as it meets the pattern gauge) and keep the sweater. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
